Kindergarten
District 200 is offering an All-Day Kindergarten option for incoming kindergartners for the 2013-14 school year.  To access the All-Day Kindergarten Interest Form Instructions, please click here.  Additional information about the 2013-14 All-Day Kindergarten program is available by clicking here.
Entering a kindergarten student in District 200 involves an overall two step process: enrollment and then registration.
A kindergarten student must first be enrolled in his or her prospective school. The enrollment process generally involves verification of residency and submitting all required enrollment forms. Parents must visit their student's school and bring along proof of residency documents as well as all required enrollment forms. Once all required documents and forms are received and verified for a student, school staff will create a record for the student in the District 200 student management system.

Once the enrollment process is finalized, school staff will provide parents with the necessary information so the student can be registered. The registration process involves parents accessing on-line Student Registration and Fee Payment. On-line Student Registration and Fee Payment provides the ability to fill out all necessary registration information and pay any applicable registration fees.

Early in the spring of every year, each elementary school hosts an informational session called "Kindergarten Round-Up." These sessions are for parents of children who will be starting kindergarten in the following school year. Parents are provided the opportunity to meet the principal, the school's kindergarten teacher(s) and get acquainted with the kindergarten program. Kindergarten Round-Up information can be found here.
