GRADES/CLASS RANK/GPA/HONOR ROLL
Traditional grades of A, B, C, D, and F are given in all
courses. Most core courses are offered in three levels
(intermediate, regular, and advanced), and grades are
weighted according to the following scale to determine
class rank, honor roll, etc.
Advanced Placement A=6.0, B=5.0, C=4.0, D=3.0, F=0
Advanced A=6.0, B=5.0, C=4.0, D=3.0, F=0
Intermediate/Regular A=5.0, B=4.0, C=3.0, D=2.0, F=0
Class rank is weighted and computed at the end of each
semester; grades earned in all courses are used to
compute each student’s grade point average (GPA),
class rank, and honor roll standing. Blue Honor Roll is
a 4.0 GPA without a single D or F; Gold Honor Roll is
a 4.80 GPA with all A’s & B’s and no C’s, D’s or F’s .
A = 90-100 D = 60 - 69
B = 80 - 89 F = Below 60 (No Credit)
C = 70 - 79
