The Selection of a New Superintendent for District 200
The process of selecting a new superintendent for District 200 has begun. The Board of Education has decided to conduct the selection process internally and will not be using a search firm. The Superintendent Selection Process document outlines, in general terms, the steps that will be taken. This document will be expanded and revised as dates and times are formalized.
The Superintendent Profile was created by the Board of Education to help in the screening and assessment of candidates. This Profile is in draft form to allow community members an opportunity to offer comments or suggestions on the qualities, characteristics, and responsibilities you would like in the next superintendent. Although the ultimate responsibility for hiring the next superintendent rests with the Board of Education, they are very interested to hear your ideas.
All comments and suggestions will be presented to the Board of Education for their consideration. Please send your thoughts to Dr. Robert Rammer, Director of Communications at rrammer@cusd200.org by January 20, 2010.
