Community Adult Education/Recreation

District 200 and the Wheaton Park District have formed a partnership to offer a comprehensive community adult education/recreation program for its residents. This program is dedicated to providing adult education/recreation classes that enrich the human experience, strengthen personal growth, and stretch the boundaries of one's imagination.

The program offers a variety of classes to meet the varied interests of its participants. Each session has a selection of classes in arts and crafts, athletics, careers, computers, cooking, dancing, financial planning, fitness/wellness, foreign languages, home improvement, personal growth, real estate, and safety. New classes are being added each session! Classes are offered throughout the community in schools and park district facilities.

All District 200 residents, whether or not they live within the boundaries of the Wheaton Park District, may participate in adult education/recreation programs at resident rates. Adult education/recreation brochures are mailed to all residents three times a year. The brochure and registration forms may also be accessed on line at www.wheatonparkdistrict.com.
