Welcome to Wiesbrook Elementary School where tradition, pride, and community are themes that are prevalent throughout the school. We are happy to welcome you as part of the Wiesbrook Tiger Family. You will find a staff of extremely talented teachers that are second-to-none and always put student growth at the forefront of everything they do. There is no doubt in my mind that Wiesbrook has the most active, creative, and supportive Parent Teacher Association in District 200. Additionally, the students at Wiesbrook are eager and ready to learn on a daily basis. Year-in and year-out they consistently outperform their peers in academic achievement at the district, state, and national levels.
Wiesbrook’s vision is one that encompasses forming positive relationships with the community, parents, students, and each other. Also, everything the faculty does at Wiesbrook will place a laser-like focus on the academic, social and emotional growth of every student. Next, at Wiesbrook the faculty and staff places a premium on providing a safe and secure learning environment for all students. In order for us to carry out our vision at Wiesbrook it’s imperative that we have your support. We have many exciting initiatives addressing this vision from implementing Common Core Math Curriculum, Professional Learning Communities and new safety measures. The District 200 website, www.cusd200.org has in-depth information relative to these curriculum initiatives.
The 2013-2014 school year promises to be an exciting one for all. We are committed to making this an enriching, stimulating, and successful year for each of our students. We can carry out our vision/mission by communicating and supporting each other, which ultimately will foster an educational environment where all children experience greater success.
It’s Tremendous to be a Tiger!
