Kindergarten

Mrs. Mahler spent a class session working with the kindergartners on making an alphabet quilt. Every child drew a baby chick on their quilt square along with other animals. The  animals were drawn onto muslin squares using brightly colored markers. After the quilt was put together, a fabric alphabet letter was attached to each child's square. The Kindergartners have been working on their letters in class on a daily basis. Kindergarteners also study many different animals and their babies. Currently in the classroom there are chick eggs for the "Egg to Chick Unit."

Mrs. Johnson's Morning class completed their quilt.  Mrs. Thornburg brought it in for the children to see.
