Hello! Mr. Hiben is so excited to be teaching 7th Grade Science this year at Hubble Middle School. Mr. Hiben studied biology and chemistry as an undergraduate student at Wheaton College. He then went on to study middle and high school science education as a graduate student. He has a passion for exploring the natural world with students and loves it when his students realize they have the ability to be scientists and participate in the discovery of how our world works!

In addition to his passion for science, Mr. Hiben also loves pursing excellence in athletics. He was a multi-sport athlete in both high school and college, and now serves as the Athletic Director at Hubble. He also coaches Wrestling and Track & Field for the Huskies. He loves being able to help student-athletes realize their potential and achieve their goals both inside the classroom and in athletic events.
