Mrs. Joanne Lang

Mrs. Lang is a Wheaton resident and parent of 3 WN students (2 former and 1 current).  She is proud to live and work in a community that embraces life-long learning and values the relationships we develop with students and families above all else.

Mrs. Lang graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a double major in Spanish (K-12 teaching) and Elementary/Middle Education, including a Natural Science minor.  She later received her Masters Degree from National Louis University in Curriculum and Instruction along with her bilingual Spanish endorsement.  Her professional career includes teaching Spanish, English Language, and co-teaching in Chemistry, U.S. History, and Government.   She taught for a number of years before staying home to raise her children and returned to teaching, now celebrating her eighth year teaching in District 200.

This year Mrs. Lang teaches Spanish 4 and Spanish 3 and is the Sponsor of Spanish Club.  Above all, Mrs. Lang loves language and culture and sharing her enthusiasm for learning with her amazing students.  When not in the classroom, you can find Mrs. Lang outside, often in Wisconsin, enjoying nature with her family.
