In flex reading, my group read past and present novels on the Rebecca Caudill nominee list of quality literature for grades 4-8.  After watching trailers to preview these books, the students selected their own book from the list to read, and some created their own new and exciting book trailers to get others interested in their book.  Take a look, and perhaps you will find yourself a new book to read!
