Social Studies Curriculum Website
Our social studies textbook has an online component that provides many extended learning opportunities, including WebQuests, videos, map activities, review games, and more. From here, parents can also view outlines of textbook chapters to help students study.

Khan Academy
This website is a great resource for just about any skill or subject. We use it mainly for math in our room, and it provides tutorial videos with sample problems for a wide variety of skills. After the videos, there are typically sets of practice problems. There are videos on countless other topics besides math that explain concepts in a learner-friendly way.

Study Island
Study Island is a fantastic resource used frequently throughout the school year in fifth grade. This website is used in a variety of ways, including in-class work, assessments, games, and homework. It provides excellent practice in math and reading as alligned to Common Core Standards. The assignments and games are very skill-specific and can also be used at home anytime for extra practice with specific skills. Students each have their own individual username and password.
