• Madison Fun Run 2020

    UPDATE

Thank you to everyone who participated in and volunteered for the 2020 Madison Fun Run! We raised more than $18,000 for our school! Third grade students raised the most funds per lap, so they will get to silly string Mr. Callahan soon. Stay tuned!

The annual Madison Fun Run is an event our students look forward to every year! And now more than ever we wanted to find a way to stay connected as a Madison family. Whether you’re in Virtual Academy or in-person, ALL students will be given the opportunity to participate. We hope this fundraiser allows your kids to feel a little more connected to our school and sets the stage for a brighter future when we can all return back together.

This year we'll be raising money for classroom and teacher needs, both for in-person and Virtual Academy classrooms. The event will kick off September 15, and students will run the week of September 28 on a course spray painted on the field behind Madison.

In-person students will run with their classes during the school day. Virtual Academy students can use the course after school or on the weekend, or they can make their own course and participate virtually. Students have 20 minutes to run as many laps as they can. Each lap is 70 feet long.

No matter when they run, students and staff can share videos on Flipgrid - watch your email and Facebook for a link and hashtag.

Show Your Creativity and Show Your Spirit!

Help us decorate Madison to cheer on our runners! If you'd like to make a sign to be displayed during the Fun Run, please drop it off at 1110 Sunset Rd. by 5 p.m. on Friday, September 25.

    Let's Reach Our Goal!

If the Madison community raises $10,000, Mr. Callahan will get silly stringed by the top grade. (Virtual Academy and in-person students combined!) The event will be safe for all to participate and will also be live streamed for everyone to watch.
