Annoucement: WW SN PTA volunteers
Hello WW-SNPTA family,
We hope that you’re enjoying this beautiful day.
Our WW-SNPTA executive team and chairs are powered by dedicated volunteers from our WW-SNPTA family.
We need your help to continue our work to help our children. WW-SNPTA serves the entire District200 ( all schools: preschools, elementary, middle and high schools) including Outplacement and Transition.
We need volunteers with a sincere desire to help our exceptional and beloved children. Some of the key things our WW-SNPTA help to do are:
-
to work in collaboration with District200 to help promote the welfare of our children.
-
to collaborate to provide information and support to parents of children with special needs, so that they can help their children maximize their potential.
-
to provide awareness to our community of the many special needs to help all children understand and appreciate challenges faced by children with special needs.
-
to sponsor workshops and speakers on topics that can help better advocate for exceptional children and topics that can help parents better understand aspects of special needs and many diagnoses.
-
to work in collaboration with the district to promote presentations to help understand your child’s IEP or 504plan, the rights of your special needs child, and the parent’s rights under IDEA.
We need volunteers with a sincere desire to help our exceptional and beloved children.
If you’re interested in a volunteer position or would like to hear more information, please fill out the following link.
Best,
WW-SNPTA executive team
