Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Ericksen is a 25-year Wheaton resident. She and her husband, Matt, have four children: Nick, Melissa, Peter, and Emily, who all graduated from District 200 schools.
Mrs. Ericksen has been a stay-at-home mom and community volunteer. Her District 200 involvement has included activities at both the school and district levels, including founding and running the Wiesbrook Elementary School Battle of the Books program for nine years, serving on the Hubble Middle School PTA, coordinating Operation Safe Celebration for the high schools, and serving on the Gifted Task Force and Community Advisory Committee for the district. Her community service includes being a past president of the Newcomers Club of Wheaton, Winfield, and Warrenville; leading Cub Scout and Girl Scout troops; volunteering for DuPage PADS and the Naperville Area Humane Society; and ongoing work for the Humanitarian Service Project and the American Cancer Society.
Mrs. Ericksen has a B.A. in Economics from Kenyon College and an M.S. in School Counseling from National Louis University. She was elected to the Board in 2017.
