Mr. Scot Hansen
The 2019-2020 school year marks my fourth year with CUSD 200. After teaching the PACE program at Emerson in my first year, I relocated to Monroe Middle School to teach 6th grade language arts and FPLA. I'm excited to share my love of reading and writing with my students. Before I began teaching, I spent over twenty years as a mid-level manager for two different manufacturing companies: one made high-temperature ceramics for the steel industry and the other made custom-built scenery for television, theater, special events, corporate meetings, and museums. My oldest daughter, Ashley, is a school counselor in Columbus, Ohio. My perfect middle child, Delaney, is attending Illlinois State University, where she plans to get a degree and teaching certificate for high school English. Both of my daughters graduated from Wheaton-Warrenville South, which is where my son, Levi, is currently attending as a sophomore. When I'm not teaching, I'm either spending time with my family, riding my bike, walking my dogs, or out somewhere enjoying nature. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to email me!
