Ms. Danielle Romano

Hello! At Bower, I support Grades K-2 as well as the Communication, Socialization, and Instruction classrooms. As a school psychologist, I work with teachers, students, and families to ensure ALL students are learning and growing in their academic, behavior, and social/emotional skills. During the school day you may find me facilitating small groups for skills such as self-regulation, modeling different behavior management strategies, consulting with teachers about academic instruction, problem-solving with students, or conducting evaluations to secure special education services for our students with disabilites.

I have an undergraduare degree in psychology from University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana and a master's degree in education as well as an education specialist degree from National Louis University. Outside school hours, I enjoy reading fiction novels, DIY projects, exercising, traveling and spending time with my dogs.
