Welcome to 3rd Grade!

I am Mrs. Lowry, (formally Ms. Sermeno)  and this will be my 5th year teaching! This is my third year at Longfellow elementary. I previously taught second grade for two years at Lincoln elementary. I am so excited to start this journey with all of you this year!
About Me

I'm an outgoing, full of energy teacher who is 29 years old. I live in Palatine IL with my Husband, Dan and my mom. I enjoy the relaxation of the deep Northern woods as my happy place in WI. 
Some of my favorite things are:
Sweets: Black forest gummy bears
Color: Aqua and pink
Drink: Iced Vanilla Latte!
Theme: Everything Nautical

My Philosophy

Encouraging and guiding students every single day to assist them in learning; is what I love about teaching. I believe each student has the potential to reach beyond what they set as their goals. I look forward to a wonderful school year!!
