Susan Booton and her husband Keith have lived in Wheaton since 2004. They have two sons, who attend Edison Middle School and Wheaton Warrenville South High School.

After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Indiana University, Susan began her career in sales and marketing positions in the food industry. She then moved into large marketing agencies where she held positions in both account and project management. More recently, after nine years of being a stay-at-home mom, she returned to work part-time with the marketing agency she and her husband own, located in Wheaton.

Susan has been an active volunteer in District 200 since her kids started at Jefferson Early Childhood Center. She has been a four-year member of the Citizens Advisory Committee, an INCubator mentor at Whittier Elementary and Lowell Elementary, Co-President and Committee Chair for Whittier Elementary PTA, and Committee Chair for Jefferson ECC PTA. Outside of the District, Susan has volunteered with Animal Rescue Foundation and served on the Board of the Newcomers Club of Wheaton, Winfield, and Warrenville.

Susan was elected to the Board of Education in April 2019.
