Here are the steps for a worker's permit:1. The student may come into WWS and pick up a worker's permit packet from the Counseling Center or print one off of our website.2. The student will then have the employer fill out the employer's statement or the student will provide a letter of intent from the employer.3. The student will have the health office fill out the certificate of physical fitness.4. The student will need to fill out the principal's statement and then return all of the completed documents to the Counseling Center.5. A counseling center secretary will look over all documents and stamp the principal's statement with his signature.6. The student will then bring the completed worker's permit packet and any additional required documents to the district office for approval.*Additonal information may be required depending on the age of the student. Specific requirements for different age groups are listed on the cover sheet of the worker's permit packet.*A position must have been offered before a work permit can be issued.* The health office is not available in the summer. Therefore, students will need to have their physician complete the certificate of physical fitness.
