High Schools Against Cancer (HSAC)

HSAC plans activities to promote cancer awareness and prevention. HSAC is also the Wheaton North half of the Relay For Life planning committee. Our culminating event is Relay For Life of Wheaton All Youth in spring, where we team up with Wheaton South to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Relay For Life is a 12 hour event that raises money for cancer prevention, awareness, research, and education. Participants make a team with friends to help fundraise and to hang out with at Relay! We participate in awesome activities, enjoy live music, and hold ceremonies for cancer survivors, their caregivers, and those we have lost throughout the night. Some past favorites include a pie eating contest, Zumba at 2am, camping out with our Relay teams, and open gym. Everyone is always welcome!
