Dr. Jacqueline Rodriguez

I am truly excited to begin my new journey at Lowell Elementary School. I would like to take some time to tell you something about myself. I have been in education for 18 years, 11 years as a teacher and 7 years as an administrator. I taught in various grades ranging from 1st-7th grade and was also a bilingual lead teacher coordinator.  I am currently a Nationally Board Certified Teacher.  I obtained my B.A. from Northeastern University and my M.Ed. in Educational Administration. I also obtained my second M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis. I completed my doctoral at the University of St. Francis in Educational Leadership.

On a personal note, I was born and raised in Chicago and I live in Bolingbrook with my husband, two children (22 and 20) and our very hyper happy two dogs, Maltese and Pekingese.  I am fluent in Spanish. My hobbies include scrapbooking, traveling, reading a good book and cooking.

I would like to welcome back all of our Lowell students and I can't wait to see you and welcome you back to school.  I am truly humbled by the opportunity to work with such an amazing staff and community. We look forward to a successful school year with you and prepare our students for a bright and amazing future.
