    Mr. Maiste has been teaching for over 25 years. He has two master's degrees in the areas of Mathematics Education and Teaching/Instruction. He has penned his first novel, a 5th-8th grade thriller, which he is currently working on getting published. He absolutely loves Math, brain teasers, and problem solving along with most sports. Family is very important to Mr. Maiste. His goals of making learning interesting, keeping students engaged throughout the day, and challenging them to reach new heights drive Mr. Maiste in the classroom setting.
