Ms. Denise Uthe
Ms. Uthe has been teaching for sixteen years. She has been a fifth grade teacher at Lowell Elementary School since 2009. Prior to that she taught fifth grade at Lincoln Elementary School in Wheaton for four years and taught three years as a sixth grade teacher in the Elmhurst School District. Mrs. Uthe loves EVERYTHING about being a fifth grade teacher at Lowell School and truly loves coming to school each and every day.
Ms. Uthe has a Business Degree from the University of Illinois and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from DePaul University. She lives with her three daughters Isabelle, Ava & Leah in Aurora. Isabelle is a Freshman, Ava is a seventh grader and Leah is beginning fourth grade. Ms. Uthe and her family have two sweet dogs named Sadie & Scout as well as two cuddly guinea pigs named Chloe & Zoe. They add a lot of laughter to an already active and fun home.
In her free time, Ms. Uthe enjoys spending time with her family, reading, running and socializing with friends.
