Hello!
Welcome to 3rd Grade! My name is Annie Murray, and I am proud to have been a teacher at Pleasant Hill for the past 17 years. For three of those years I taught 4th grade, 1 year was at 2nd grade, and the remaining I have been at 3rd. I am a lifetime Wheaton resident who attended Kindergarten through 12th grade in District 200. I received my undergraduate degree from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois, and also have a Master's degree in Reading and Literacy from Walden University.
I love that my days are filled with eight- and nine-year olds whose smiles, inquisitive minds, kindness, and creativity never cease to amaze me. After school I get to go home to my amazing family: Luke (husband of 13 years whom I met at Augie), Lincoln (6-year-old son) and Lainey (9-year-old daughter). My cup runneth over!
