Hello and welcome to third grade!  My name is Julia Banta and I've been a teacher at Washington School since 2012.  While here at Washington I have taught kindergarten, first grade, and now third grade since 2014. I grew up in Wheaton and attended Edison Middle School and Wheaton Central High School.    

I have a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine Universtiy, and also attended Benedictine for my teaching degree.  My favorite thing about teaching is getting to know my students and watching them grow throughout the year. 

When I'm not teaching, I love spending time with my family, music, reading and travel.
