Mr. Paulsen is an architect and Senior Vice President, Chief Development Officer at Wight & Company. In addition, as leader of the firm’s PreK-12 Education Group, Brad plays an active role with many school districts in the early planning stages of individual school design projects and capital improvement programs.

Brad graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor’s degree in Architecture (1988); as well as, dual master’s degrees in Architecture and Finance (1991).

Brad and his wife Pamela have been residents of Wheaton since 2005 and have two children - one recent graduate and one still attending Wheaton Warrenville South High School.

He was first elected to the Board in April 2013 and served as Board President from December 2018 through May 2021.
