The 2020 school year is my 25th year teaching elementary school. I began teaching third grade in 1993. After seven years in my position, I stayed home to take care of my two young boys for three years. In 2003, I joined the staff at Johnson Elementary School as a reading specialist. I have been here ever since! What a great school! As a reading specialist, I worked with small groups and in classrooms at all of the grade levels, including kindergarten. This is my ninth year teaching All Day Kindergarten. I love it! What a fun place to be!

I live in Glen Ellyn with my husband of 28 years.  We have two sons, 23 and 19.  As a family, we enjoying visiting new places together.
