My name is Lauren Strickland and I have been involved with education for the past 18 years. I attended Northeastern University to obtain my LBS1 certification, early childhood special education and EL approval and then obtained my type 75 certification through Aurora University. I have previously taught in a therapeutic alternative setting, high school setting and preschool setting prior to coming to Clifford Johnson Elementary. At Johnson I am one of the special education teachers who collaborates with various grade levels K-5 and at times co-teaches with grade level teachers to provide quality education. I enjoy spending time with my family, my two daughters Paris and London and my dog Bentley.
