Mrs. Fill
My name is Eileen Fill and I began my teaching career in the northern suburbs of Chicago in 1978 after graduating from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. There I taught in resource settings in 4th through 8th grades. At that time, I also attended National Louis University for post graduate work.
We then moved and raised our two children in Louisville, Kentucky. There, I was a full-time substitute in their school. In addition, I performed office tasks for Texas Roadhouse and Louisville’s newspaper.
We returned to Chicago in 2007 and that is when I began teaching with District 200 and this is my sixth year at Johnson School. I feel fortunate to work with your children every day. It is exciting to teach them and watch them learn. In turn, your children continually help me learn too!
