Mrs. Fitzgerald has been a classroom teacher at Lowell School since 2006. Prior to that, she worked as a classroom and reading teacher for 8 years in the Bensenville School District. She has taught grades 1-3 and K-5 reading.

 

She has a B.S. in Elementary Education from Elmhurst College. She received her first graduate degree in Teaching and Leadership from St. Xavier University in 2002 and her second graduate degree as a Reading Specialist from Olivet Nazarene University in 2011.

 

She currently lives with her husband, son, and daughter in Itasca.
