Mrs. Beth DiRienzo

Just a little about me……

I completed work to receive my Reading Teacher Endorsement through Olivet Nazarene University a couple years ago.  I have a Special Education LBS1 Master’s degree from National Louis University and have been trained in the Lindamood Bell Visualizing and Verbalizing comprehension program . I am beginning my 8th year as a Resource teacher.

Prior to teaching in the field of Special Education,  I was a special education teaching assistant for 7 years here at Washington School.  I have my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Illinois State and taught in Itasca, prior to having my children.

I  am a district 200 alumni parent, as well. In fact, all 4 of our children attended Washington School.

Our youngest son is now 21 and is living in DeKalb, attending Northern. Our 25 year old son moved to Colorado a couple years ago and is loving the outdoors there, and our 28 year old son lives downtown Chicago and works in the computer field. Our daughter lives in Aurora and we were able to enjoy a lot of time hanging out with her and our 3 grandchildren, Jude (7), Rowan (5), and Nora (2) over the summer.

It is a privilege to be working with such a caring group of professionals every day.

You can always get ahold of me via email. The email is beth.dirienzo@cusd200.org. Feel free to drop me a line to say hello.

I look forward to partnering with you to best support your child. I love my job and working with families, as well as all of my kiddos I help to support.
