I have been working with multilingual learners and teaching bilingual and ML classes in grades Kindergarten through 6 since 2004. Prior to joining the team at Washington School, I taught bilingual first grade for five years in the City of Chicago. I also worked for three years as a bilingual resource teacher in Woodridge, Illinois. 

I learned to speak, read and write Spanish while living and studying in Guadalajara, Mexico. I have also lived, studied and worked in England, Austria and Switzerland. In addition to Spanish, I speak, read, and write fluent German. In my free time, I enjoy traveling as well as spending time with family, friends and a good book.

También trabajé durante tres años como maestro de recursos bilingüe en Woodridge, Illinois.

Aprendí a hablar, leer y escribir español mientras vivía y estudiaba en Guadalajara, México. También he vivido, estudiado y trabajado en Inglaterra, Austria y Suiza. Además del español, hablo, leo y escribo alemán con fluidez. En mi tiempo libre, me gusta viajar, así como pasar tiempo con mi familia, mis amigos y un buen libro.
