Mrs. Cindy Blair

I grew up in Edwardsville, Illinois where my mother taught high school for 33 years.  This is my 33rd year of teaching.  I think first grade is the year that sees the most growth in terms of academics, social skills, independence, and confidence.  It's a HUGE challenge every day, but I love what I do!
I am married (33 years) with two children.  My eldest daughter is a high school social studies teacher and she got married in 2016.  She just had my first grandson, and I love being a grandma!  My younger daughter works at a VA Hospital in Augusta, Georgia.  She works with veterans who have vision impairments.  She teaches life skills, assistive technology, and can read Braille fluently!  We are planning a wedding for October 2019!
I love reading, camping, reading,  biking, reading, walking, reading,  knitting, reading, and spending time with family.  Oh, and I love to read!  ;)   I enjoy traveling with my husband on our Harley Davidson motorcycle during the summer, and we enjoy Carribean cruises when we can.  I LOVE Honeycrisp apples and all flavors of popcorn.
