Welcome! I am Diane Corbett, and I am one of the Reading Specialists at Hawthorne School. I enjoy teaching children and encouraging children to love to read! I graduated from Concordia University in River Forest and earned my Master's Degree in Reading at Northeastern University. I taught 4th grade in California, 6th grade in Chicago, and have been a Reading Specialist in District 200 at Johnson Elementary School, Longfellow Elementary School, and now at Hawthorne School.
