Welcome to my teacher webpage. I am Mrs. Ellen Murphy and am a special teacher at Wheaton North High School and have been teaching here for 18 years. I am a retired Wheaton Police Officer and went back to get my Master's in Special Education towards the end of my police career. Since then I have also earned a Master's degree in School Administration and am a Reading Specialist. I grew up in the area and graduated from Glenbard North High School. I enjoy working with the students at Wheaton North, watching them mature and eventually graduate into great young men and women. I currently co-teach Jr. English with Mr. Solether I also teach Junior English and an Academic Skills class. I am available every day before school in the special education office and after school by appointment. I am the sponsor for the Dungeons and Dragons Club. I use google classroom for all my classes and am always open to working and meeting with students and parents.
