Mrs. Brooke Thurston
Mrs. Thurston has been an educator with Community Unit School District 200 since 2000 teaching third grade. Prior to that, she was a classroom aide for a 1st grade classroom and a 5th grade classroom. Mrs. Thurston LOVES sports and is a huge Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs fan! Mrs. Thurston's favorite part of teaching is getting to have fun with her kiddies during their learning process.
Mrs. Thurston has a B.A in Elementary Education from Illinois State University. She continued her education through Aurora University and received a M.A. in Education. Throughout her years of teaching, she has taken a variety of other graduate level courses to enable her to reach her students using many different teaching strategies.
Mr. and Mrs. Thurston have been married since 2002. They have a beautiful daughter named Addison and an adorable son named Grayson.
