You are entering a world of adventure and exploration where learning is revered and creativity and responsibility are applauded. My goal this year is to inspire a lifelong love of learning. Children can develop a love of learning at this age that will enable them to accomplish anything.
I am excited to“travel” with this group of third graders. I am always so amazed and impressed with how much growth I see from the beginning of the third grade year to the end.What an incredible journey!
This year is my seventeenth year of teaching. I have taught pre-kindergarten and first grade, but this year will be my 12th year teaching third grade. I received a B.S. in Radio/TV/Film from Northwestern University and an M.A. in Education from Roosevelt University. I live in Carol Stream with my husband and two children. In our spare time, we like to read, listen to music, enjoy the outdoors, and visit new places. I also like spending my spare time writing and creating. One of my favorite things to do is sit outside with a notebook and a pencil and let my imagination soar.
