Mr. James

Mr. James is in his tenth year as part of the Social Studies Department and his first year as an Instructional Coach at Wheaton North High School. He is an Assistant Varsity Football Coach and the Head Sophomore Boys Basketball Coach. Prior to beginning his professional teaching career, Mr. James earned his bachelor's degree in History from Carroll University in Waukesha, WI. During his undergraduate years at Carroll, Mr. James was a member of the Carroll University Pioneer football team, history honors society Phi Alpha Theta, and the Big Brothers Big Sisters Organization of Metro Milwaukee. Following his undergraduate studies and athletic participation, Mr. James went on to student-teach at a Chicago Public High School.

Mr. James currently teaches Economics and coaches football and boys basketball. In August of 2017, he completed a Master's Degree in Illinois Principal Preparation through Concordia University Chicago. In December of 2018, he completed a second Master’s Degree in Instructional Technology through Northern Illinois University. In January of 2020, he finished a third Master's Degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration through Concordia University Irvine. Mr. James enjoys building and maintaining positive relationships with students as he experienced as a CUSD200 student! He strives to engage and inspire all students!
