Mr. Johns has been at Wheaton North since 1998 as a mathematics instructor and the mathematics department chair.  He graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in mathematics education.  Since beginning at Wheaton North, Mr. Johns has obtained a Master's degree in Educational Administration as well as a Master's degree in Mathematics.  There are few things he likes better than seeing the proverbial "light bulb" go off when students develop a strategy to complete a mathematical process.
