My name is Betsy Freckelton and I am so excited to be your third grade teacher! I attended Olivet Nazarene University, and graduated in 2012 with my degree in Elementary Education and an endorsement in Language Arts. I finished my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with an endorsement in ESL from Concordia University in 2017.

 

I have always wanted to be a teacher. My parents told me a funny story about the day before I started preschool, when I was just 4 years old. We were in the car, driving past my new preschool and my dad said, “Look, Betsy! That’s where you’re going to pre-school this fall!” I looked out the window and, apparently a little confused, asked my parents “Will I teach?” Can you guess the answer? :-) 

 

My husband and I have a dog named Boris and we have so much fun playing outside and going on walks with him! We love to do projects around our house, go on bike rides, and watch movies together! 

 

When I'm not at school, I enjoy playing with Boris, mini-golfing with Mr. Freckelton, hanging out with my nephew Cooper, crafting, and spending time with friends and family.
