• Registration Information

Welcome! For those new to Athletics, we hope that the following information helps you navigate
through the procedure in order to tryout and participate in athletics at Wheaton Warrenville South.

*ALL STUDENTS MUST BE REGISTERED FIRST FOR ATHLETICS BEFORE TRYOUTS BEGIN

Registration for athletics is completed online through ParentVue, click on the left-hand tab for “Athletics
& Activities”. Fill out the short form and click the submit button and you will be registered. If your
student changes to a different sport you can log back into the ParentVue Registration and make that
adjustment at the “Athletic & Activities” tab. No fees are due until the season starts.

*ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE A CURRENT PHYSICAL ON FILE IN THE ATHLETIC OFFICE.

According to the Illinois High School Association (IHSA), all athletes must have a current physical on file
in order to participate in athletics. Incoming Freshmen trying out for a sport must submit a current
physical to the nurse’s office to begin school. PLEASE COPY that physical and send it to the Athletics
office at Wheaton Warrenville South as well.

Physicals are considered current for Athletics, within 13 months from the date of issuance (i.e.,
examination date 9/1/2018, expires 10/1/2019). If your student’s physical expires within a season, a
new physical will be needed in order to continue participation.

*ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE AN ILLINOIS HIGH SCHOOL ASSOCIATION (IHSA) FORM SIGNED AND RETURNED TO ATHLETICS

IHSA requires a Sports Medicine Acknowledgement and Consent Form to be signed by parent and student and returned to the Athletics office before tryout/participation begins.
