•  Dear Parents or Guardians, 

    This letter is to inform you about “Curriculum Night” at Johnson Elementary School that will take place on August 29th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The purpose of curriculum night is for parents and guardians to meet with classroom teachers and or specialist to learn about grade level curriculum and expectations for the school year. 

    Curriculum Night will be segmented into three sections. From 6:00 pm to 6:25 pm parents and guardians will meet with the principal in the gymnasium to hear a presentation about Johnson Elementary School, curriculum, and school and district initiatives.

    From 6:30 pm to 7:10 pm there will be grade level presentations for the primary grades: kindergarten, first and second. During the primary grade level presentations, the intermediate grade levels will have an open house. During the open house, parents are able to walk into the classrooms and speak to the teacher, but there will not be a formal presentation.

    From 7:20 pm to 8:00 pm there will be grade level presentations for intermediate grades: third, fourth, and fifth. During the intermediate grade level presentations, the primary grade levels will have an open house. During the open house, parents are able to walk into the classrooms and speak to the teacher, but there will not be a formal presentation.
