Hello! I am very excited to join you this year in your Middle School adventures. This will be my 6th year at Edison teaching 7th Grade Language Arts. My focus is always to give students the tools and resources they will need in order to be successful learners and above all else, good people. My expectations, whether in the classroom or in the remote setting we are faced with at the beginning of this year, is for students to try, do their best, work hard, and ask questions. 

While teaching is what I love to do as my career choice, I am also a husband, father of three rambunctious boys, and father of our favorite large and lazy dog Bonzo. At home, I am usually playing with the kiddos, remodeling some part of my house (which my wife is starting to get tired of), building things in the garage, or staying active by playing basketball or golfing; I am still waiting for my invite to the PGA Tour, but they keep telling me to hit the ball into the fairway first.  

I am looking forward to getting to know and work with my students this year. Although this is a very different start to the year, we will make the best of it!
