I graduated from Illinois State University in 2003 with a degree in marketing. I got my calling to be a teacher while working in advertising, where I realized that the thing I enjoyed the most about my job was teaching and training new employees.  My passion for teaching and learning led me back to school at Northern Illinois University.  At NIU, I earned a degree in history and my teaching certification.  I've taught at many schools, big and small, for 7 years now, and I am thrilled to be a Wheaton North Falcon.  When I am not teaching, I enjoy playing guitar, snowboarding, rooting for the Cubs and Packers, and spending time with my wife (Melissa) and daughter (Olivia).
