Mr. Stassen has been teaching since 2007.  Seven of those years have been at a Catholic school in the city of Chicago, from 2011-2015 he was the PE Department Chair.  This year Mr. Stassen teaches two Freshman classes, two Sophomore class, and one Junior DFP competitive class.  Mr. Stassen enjoys the time spent with all of his classes and making positive changes and influence on the lives of the students.
 
Mr. Stassen was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland but attended high school at King's High School in Tynemouth England.  He received his Bachelor of Arts in K-12 PE education with an endorsement in health and outdoor recreation from NorthEastern Illinois University in 2007.  Mr. Stassen will be getting endorsed in Driver's Ed by the beginning of 2016-17 school year.
 
 
Mr. Stasen is the head Boys soccer Coach and volunteer Girls Soccer coach.
