English & Language Arts
English, language arts includes reading, writing, speaking, listening and the study of literature. In addition, students must be able to study, retain and use information from many sources. They should be able to read fluently, understand a broad range of written material, communicate well, and listen carefully and effectively. Students should be able to demonstrate their knowledge through speaking and writing for a variety of audiences and purposes.

Fine Arts
The arts are essential to the human experience. When people create in sounds, images, gestures and words, they discover ways to shape and share their thoughts and feelings with others. Classes in the fine arts give students opportunities to study, create and performs. The fine arts include dance, drama, music, and visual arts.

World Languages
Learning a world language enhances a student's ability to be effective in a multilingual, global society. The approach to second language instruction found in today's schools is designed to facilitate genuine interaction with others, whether they are on another continent, across town, or within the neighborhood.

Mathematics
Mathematics is a language we use to identify, describe, and investigate the patterns and challenges of everyday living. Mathematics encompasses arithmetic, measurement, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, probability, and other fields. It deals with numbers, quantities, shapes, data, and numerical operations. Confronting, understanding and solving problems is at the heart of mathematics.

Physical Development & Health
Physical development and health programs offer the potential to enhance the capacity of our students' minds and bodies. Science
Science is a creative endeavor of the human mind. It offers a special perspective of the natural world in terms of understanding and interaction. Science instruction helps students develop a rich and full understanding of the inquiry process; the key concepts and principles of life sciences, physical sciences, earth sciences and space sciences; and issues of science, technology, and society in historical and contemporary contexts.

Social Science
The social sciences provide the coordinated, systematic study of such subjects as anthropology, economics, geography, history, law, political science, and sociology in addition to content from the humanities, mathematics and natural sciences. The study of social science help students develop the ability to make informed and reasoned decisions for the benefit of the global society in which they live.
