Welcome! My name is Danielle Fishleigh and I am thrilled to be your child's fourth grade teacher. This is my seventh year teaching fourth grade at Emerson and I could not be more excited to be a part of such a wonderful school and community. Before teaching fourth grade, I was a special education aide and substitute teacher here at Emerson. As a District 200 graduate, I am passionate about teaching and fostering a love for learning in each of my students. 

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Northern Illinois University with middle school endorsements in language arts and social science. 

In my free time I enjoy running, spending time with friends and family, and walking my Golden Retrievers.
