I have been a teacher in District 200 for over 13 years working in the Syracuse and Transition programs and for the past six years, as a resource teacher. I have taught at many different schools in the District and am happy to have found a "home" at Lowell. I earned my BA in Mass Communications from St. Xavier College and worked at a hospital as a photographer for five years before going back to school and earning my Master's in Special Education from UIC. I also has her English Learner endorsement and am bilingual in Lithuanian.

I live in Woodridge with my husband Kevin, who is a school social worker, and we have two children: Jack, who is at Marquette University studying Finance, Economics and Biology, and Annie, who is at DePaul University studying to become a high school history teacher.
