Hi! My name is Megan Schuurman and I am one of the Special Education Resource Teachers at Emerson. I began working as an Elementary Resource Teacher in District 200 in 2016 and have been at Emerson since 2017. I graduated from Carthage College in 2015 with degrees in both Elementary Education and Special Education. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to complete my student teaching within District 200 at Sandburg Elementary and Monroe Middle School- the same schools that I attended as a student! I am looking forward to another successful year at Emerson!
