My name is Lauren Strickland and I have been involved with education for the past 21 years. I attended Northeastern University to obtain my LBS1 certification, attended UIC to obtain my masters in early childhood special education and EL approval and then obtained my type 75 (Administration & Leadership) certificate through Aurora University. I have previously taught in a therapeutic alternative setting, high school setting and preschool setting prior to coming to Clifford Johnson Elementary. At Johnson, I am one of the special education teachers who collaborates with various grade levels K-5 and at times co-teaches with grade level teachers to provide quality education. I enjoy spending time with my family, my two daughters, Paris and London, and my dog Bentley.

Mi nombre es Lauren Strickland y he estado involucrado con la educación durante los últimos 21 años. Asistí a la Universidad de Northeastern para obtener mi certificación LBS1, fui a la UIC para obtener mi maestria en educación especial para la primera infancia y aprobación de EL y luego obtuve mi certificación de tipo 75 (administracion) a través de la Universidad de Aurora. He enseñado previamente en un entorno alternativo terapéutico, en el establecimiento de secundaria y en el entorno preescolar antes de venir a Clifford Johnson Elementary.
