BSEd Special Education Learning Behavior Specialist I

Miss Kaitlyn Stoll

My name is Kaitlyn Stoll and I am currently one of the 8th grade special education resource teachers at Hubble Middle School. I graduated from Eastern Illinois University's teacher preparation program in 2017. I received a Bachelor's of Science of Education in Special Education. I completed my student teaching requirements in District 200 in the Wheaton-Warrenville area. I am also a second generation teacher, but many members of my family have worked in the schools as secretaries, building service workers, or substitutes. I am truly thankful to give back to the school district that has so many ties to my family. My goal is to to make a difference to the students who are placed on my caseload. I want to work to make their educational experience meaningful and worthwhile.

This is the start of my fifth year teaching here. The first two years, I taught the Math and Reading interventions, but in 2019 I moved to a case manager position.  This year, I'll be teaching direct service ELA, Co-teaching ELA, as well as co-teaching Math, and finally teaching Academic Skills. I’m here to provide support, and modify needed assignments, as well as plan for a successful transition to high school.
